I believe I earned myself a 95%. My slide wasn't as big as the other groups but I did identify a major problem and thoroughly explained it. I could've used a different format instead of using bullet points. While I did explain the nation problem, it could have been better. My group grade overall was a 90%. Everyone in my group, including myself, used bullet points for our slides. We had about 3-4 bullet points and that was not good for us. Each slide had to take up at least 2 mins per person. I believe only one of us reached the 1 min mark. The other groups had entire paragraphs for they're slides, which did help them reach 2 mins. The only thing they didn't do better than us was explaining the problem for each slide. My group can state the problem, explain it, and figure out a way to solve it. Other groups had to take most of their time to think about a solution for their problem.

Today we talked about the effect humans had on the land and how they changed it. For example, Manhattan was a plain island. Not many buildings or skyscrapers reaching into the sky. There wasn't even that many people living on the island. But then they started to build homes and workspace. Now more people came to the island to find a new home or job. When people think of New York city they think about new opportunities. When the buildings were finished, many people came to the city, they started their own businesses. Soon more and more people came, and the population grew. It could be compared to the gold rush in the west when everyone moved out to find fortune. The city is always working and always moving. Now the people of New York city are living life with hope of a better future. They wake up each morning to become a better person than they were yesterday.
We got our tests back today. The class averaged around a 75%. We had notes to use and we still tied with the honors class who didn't have notes. I need to take better notes for my blog. All my notes were in my notebook but we won't use that. We will only be using the blogs. A couple of people got A's on the test. Others not so much. Fun fact every single person who took the test got this one question wrong. It was a trick question that messed with our perception and our thinking. The question had specific coordinates on it, but it doesn't exist in the world. Everyone just took one glance at the numbers and and assumed it was absolute location. It worked because no one got it right, next time we won't be tricked
